Our Music & Movement Programme, facilitated by Vinod Tiwari, brings together music, rhythm, movement and body percussion to create a playful and engaging learning experience for earlyyears children and children with special needs.
Body percussion is the art of using the body to create sounds and rhythms—through clappinghands, tapping thighs, stamping feet, patting the body or clicking fingers.
It gives children the opportunity to feel rhythm, hear rhythm and create rhythm using their own bodies.
Attention & Listening
Children learn to listen carefully, follow rhythms and respond to auditory cues.
Auditory Processing
Rhythmic activities encourage children to notice differences in sound, rhythm, tempo and patterns.
Bilateral Coordination
Activities involving both hands and both sides of the body encourage coordinated movement.
Motor Planning & Coordination
Sequencing movements helps children plan, remember and execute actions.
Pattern & Sequencing Skills
Repeating and creating rhythms introduces children to patterns, order and sequencing.
Focus & Self-Regulation
Rhythmic activities provide structure and predictability, helping children engage and participate.
Communication & Expression
Children can express themselves through rhythm and movement, even when verbal communication may be challenging.
Social Connection
Group rhythms encourage imitation, turn-taking, synchronisation and shared attention.
Confidence & Joy
Every child can contribute a sound or movement, creating opportunities for participation and success.
For young children, the body is one of their first tools for exploring the world. Body percussion connects movement, sound and learning in a natural and enjoyable way.
For children with special needs, activities can be adapted to individual abilities. A clap, a tap, a stomp, a gentle pat or even a simple movement can become part of the music. There is no requirement to perform perfectly—the focus is on participation, exploration and connection.
Vinod Tiwari integrates music, rhythm, movement, body percussion and playful interaction to create engaging experiences for children.
His sessions can be conducted in preschools, schools, therapy centres, special education settings and community programmes.
“Your body is your first instrument. Find the rhythm within, and let learning begin.”
